CHILDREN’S DAY
Every year on the 14th of November we celebrate Children’s Day with the aim of spreading child awareness among the common people. Children’s Day is celebrated to increase awareness about the rights, education, and welfare of children. We have been working on various child development programs from the beginning of our journey so this day is very important for us. On this day all the children and students participated in this program.
Independence Day
We celebrate Independence Day every year on 15th August through cultural programs arranged by our members. Independence day is the day to remember the heroic martyrs of our country and their sacrifices. To celebrate this freedom, with the help of some children and villagers we arrange some inspirational dramas and programs. On this day we have organized a Blood Donation Camp to encourage everyone to take social responsibility.
Ananda Niketan Pathshala Annual Fest
Every year in the month of March / April we celebrate our annual carnival which we call the “ Ananda Niketan Pathshala Annual Fest “. This is the festival of joy for the kids and their families ad local villagers and an occasion of motivation for all those who stand beside our projects throughout the year.
In our Annual Carnival, we honor the efforts of other organizations and peer groups, and individuals and give recognition to their notable works towards social development, empowerment, etc. The students of our Ananda Niketan Pathshala celebrate this day by participating in cultural programs where they get a stage to showcase their hidden talents and skills by performing in dance, drama, recitation, music, etc. The students also participate in various sports events and drawing competitions, etc.
Various social events are also conducted on this day such as Blood Donation Camps, Medical Camps, Cloth donations, Food donations, etc.
Clothes Distribution In Puja
Durga Puja is the biggest festival in West Bengal and it is a compulsory practice to buy new clothes before Durga Puja. But there are many who does not have such privileges to buy new clothes and wear them even once a year. So with the vision of “ Puja with a Purpose, “ we plan to bring smiles to such faces every year by donating New Clothes to the men women, and children during the Durgotsav. We seek your support and request to donate generously for the cause so that we bring smiles to Maximum faces during the festival times.
Blanket Distribution in Winter
Have you ever imagined how cold it gets during the winters outside at night? It can get very cold and chilly at night during winters. Many homeless people and elderly grandparents who are deprived of any means have nothing to cover themselves with during such times. They suffer and then catch fever or get extremely sick.
Every year we run our “Blanket Distribution” drives and camps throughout the winter season at various locations to save homeless and deprived elderly persons of the winter cold.
You can also ease their suffering by donating a blanket or winter clothes. Donate a blanket and keep them warm.

Wedding Anniversary, festivals, house warming, promotion day, first salary day, birthday, Death anniversary and so many reasons we have where we want to make such special days a memorable one. Even we have many International Days like Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Independence Day, Republic Day, etc.
We have so many different occasions to celebrate and we mostly celebrate them personally. We choose to celebrate these days with our loved and special ones. You can double your Joy by adding compassion on these special days. Share your joy with our kids of Ananda Niketan Pathshala and the deprived elderly grandparents, etc. by providing them with the much-required Wholesome Meals.
